Who we are

This website is operated by Xena Design & Build, an interior design and fit-out studio at Concorde Tower, Cluster H, Jumeirah Lakes Towers, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Xena Design & Build.

We handle personal data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data, and any other laws that apply in the Emirate of Dubai.

What we collect

Details you give us. Your name, e-mail address, phone number and anything you write when you contact us through the website form, by e-mail, by phone or on WhatsApp.
Project information. Details about your property, plans, budget and preferences that you choose to share while we discuss or carry out a project.
Website usage. Basic technical information such as pages visited, device and browser type, collected through cookies and similar technologies. See Cookies below.

How we use it

To reply to your enquiry and arrange consultations.
To prepare proposals and deliver the services you engage us for.
To keep records we are required to keep by law, such as invoices.
To understand how the website is used, so we can improve it.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have agreed to that.

We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, such as our website host, e-mail provider and messaging services, and with suppliers or contractors where this is needed to deliver your project. Some of these providers may process data outside the UAE; where they do, we take reasonable steps to make sure your data is protected. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and project records for as long as the law requires or as needed to deal with any warranty or after-care questions. After that, we delete or anonymise it.

Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in UAE law, you can ask us to give you a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, restrict or stop how we use it, or transfer it to someone else, and you can withdraw any consent you have given. To make a request, contact us using the details below.

Cookies

We use cookies that the website needs in order to work, and analytics and advertising cookies (for example from Google) that measure how the site is used and how our adverts perform. Analytics and advertising cookies are on by default. You can switch them off at any time with the small cookie icon at the bottom left of every page, or the "Cookie settings" link at the foot of each page: choose Decline and we stop using them and delete the ones already set in your browser. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

If you reach this website from one of our online adverts, your browser keeps the advert reference (for example a Google click identifier), the page you arrived on and the time, for up to 90 days. If you then send us an enquiry through the website form, that reference is sent with it, so that we can tell which adverts lead to enquiries. We do not use it for anything else. Enquiries sent through the form are stored securely with our website host and forwarded to us by e-mail.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
